LactoPharm Spray Dried is widely used as filler binders for direct compaction. Spray-dried lactose is a finely milled lactose monohydrate which is suspended in water, and spray-dried to give spherical agglomerates of crystalline lactose monohydrate in a matrix of amorphous lactose.
